We're sorry to hear about the loss of Fred Waring. Our condolences, Memories of Me
My deepest condolences to Terri and Fred's entire family. Thank you for sharing this memorial page. It is a beautiful description of Freddie. May peace and love guide us to cherish each day! -- Jon Speckman
Dear Terri and family, I offer to you my deepest condolence. I am so sorry you have lost your true love. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Janet Dickerson King
I was sad to hear of Fred's passing at such a young age. Fred was he one we counted on to provide the music (from the back of his car!) whenever we got together. It sounds as if his life was wonderful and exciting. I'm sure that he will be greatly missed. Patsy (Johnson) Brock CHS '77
We were shocked and saddened at the news of Fred's passing. Fred was very entertaining and special to be with. He made every event fun with his outgoing personality and wit. He will be greatly missed. Ken and Tina Hollifield
Terri, Fred was more than an uncle to me, he was more like a big brother. I'm sorry I was unable to attend the memorial service. The time I spent with the two of you in Florida, was something I will treasure always. I will miss him till I see him again. Take care of yourself and please keep in touch with us. Love, Doug, Karen & Cole
My dear friend, my buddy, "you big stud" I miss you and always will. A lot of people do not understand the brotherhood we felt for each other. Fred, "Teddy Jack" you were/are my brother and I am trying really hard to understand why God took you. You are forever in my life "my brotha" and please know how much you meant to all the lives you touched. Terri, I know you will be OK because Fred would want it that way. Much love to all who new Fred and God bless. Jim W.
Terri, Chris, and Family, I was really lucky to have known him. He always made me a part of his life, no matter what, really like a brother, since 5th grade. He was fearless, riding in his car or boat was definitely a thrill ride! But, I trusted him and wasn't ever afraid to get in! He was also the most generous person to people he loved. He would have done anything for his friends and family, I saw many examples over the years. (Try paying for a drink at Dalt's years ago!) He lived life to the fullest, and is even more alive and well now in spirit. Now I can talk to him any time of day, without an outrageous phone bill. I will miss his laugh and remember how often he did laugh. He is laughing right now. I love you Freddy. Caryn

I'am pleased to say I didn't only get the FORTUNE of meeting Freddie Waring...I became his sister-in-law,sister and friend!!!When my sister,Terri, married Freddie there was so much LOVE at their wedding. I was one of the bridesmaids, so many friends and family. But most importantly my oldest sister was HAPPY and safe with this wonderful man whom was about to give her the most adventures and loving memories of her life, they were INSEPARABLE!!! And who can blame her, Freddie was a very warm, smart, loving man, always had a BIG HUG and BIG HELLO to anyone...but with me..it was "How's my Bebby" and "When are you coming to live with us?" I adore my sister and Freddie and was very close to doing just that.Freddie has given me so much in my life..a GREAT nephew,Chris, love, and at a time in my life when it was a bit rocky..He gave me inspiration, and made me relize I could do most anything, and he is a true example of that!!With saying that I'am in the same industry as Freddie and with those SO MANY times he helped me and other people in or out of our industry he is truly well experienced with great stories, meetings of people, some of us could only dream of happening to us. And everyone he touched remembers Freddie!I will keep climbing the ladder of success as Freddie soars the highest ladder he has ever flown. I will do it poudly, with the ups and downs I know he will be there right with me. I miss you Freddie so much ...and I know your in a better place. I love you Terri and Chris and ya know, Freddie is gonna shine everyday of our lives as long as we live. Believe that,he wouldn't have it any otherway. THANK YOU FREDDIE for touching my life, my families and the world and just because your YOU!!! See you on the otherside ,Freddie!! I LOVE YOU !! Beth (Bebbie) O'Connell
I sure will miss him so much, I just can't help but to cry everytime i think of him adn sometimes it seems I cannot believe he is gone but he is and I miss him. I sure can't wait to see him again and give him a hug. Bill Waring.
I LOVE YOU FREDDIE, I KNOW YOU, PAUL AND KEITH ARE ALL LOOKING UPON ALL YOUR LOVED ONES HERE ON EARTH. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DAY WE MEET AGAIN. ALL MY LOVE YOU BIG STUD TONYA A. LUCAS
Ahh Freddie, We've missed him so much. It hardly seems like a year could've passed by so fast. He would be so proud to see how his Terri has grown, survived and flourished even under so much sorrow. It's as if he has been there guiding her, protecting her from all the pain and struggles she's endured this past year. And she has had her share. I know she senses his presence and that's what keeps her going. But then again, he always knew his Terri was a survivor. And now she lives as an example to all of us that you can beat the disease of alcoholism. 10 months of sobriety is her glowing light right now. Just watch as it grows brighter and stronger as she helps more of those suffering around her. We'll never forget Freddie, his charm, graciousness and fun-loving spirit. It lives on in all of us. For WE WERE TOUCHED. Thank God! Always here, not to fear, for we love you Tare Bear and to the Mighty Christo!!! The Baciu's......Mike, Laura, Nick and Meghan
That was a beautiful tribute to Fred. Amazing how much can happen in one year! Peace and Love - Memories of Me.com

We miss getting calls from Fred just to say hello. Fred was more like a brother to me having been born a day apart in the same hospital and growing up together as cousins. We were greatful to be able to attend your wedding and meet you Terri. We were so terribly sorry we couldn't attend his memorial service. We pray God's blessings on your life. Mike and Debbie
I am sad that after his death, his group is never heard anymore on radio, no mention of him. He received a medal from the US COngress, but no postage stamp of him for his patriotic support. Betty Boop and Elvis beat him out. I worked for him for 6 summers at the FRED WARING MUSIC WORKSHOP in Delaware Water Gap, PA. I had learned so much from him. BOB ORNER, MONTROSE, PA
