December 30, 1936 - November 5, 1998  

Richard "Dick" Jackson was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio where he worked for Borden's Corporation.  After his 20 year retirement he moved with his second wife Claire Jackson and family to Hallandale, Florida to reside.  Dick became a plumber for the South Florida State Hospital where he had worked at for almost  20 years and was looking forward to retirement and traveling around the country with his significant other, Dorothy Brown.    Dick was devoted to the Loyal Order of the Moose where he became a member of the "25 Club" and earned a prestigious title of "Fellowship Member".   When he passed away he was the active Governor of the Moose Lodge #1119 in Miramar, Florida.  Although, Dick was loyal to the Moose Lodge he carried his ethics and morals through to his friends and family.  He was very kind and loving and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anybody who needed it.  Dick loved fishing, hunting and best of all playing cards or sharing a beer with his friends.
